The Challenge

A local school in West Bromwich needed to modernise its classroom IT while addressing rising energy costs, limited desk space, and equipment durability.

The existing desktop PCs were large, inefficient and poorly positioned. Some units were placed on the floor due to space constraints, increasing the risk of damage. Cable clutter led to broken ports, unplugged devices and ongoing disruption for both students and staff.

In addition, traditional PC rollouts created long setup times and excessive packaging waste, reducing classroom availability and impacting teaching time. The school required a space saving, energy efficient PC deployment that could be delivered quickly and safely.

The Solution

Vibrant Networks designed and delivered a school wide PC deployment project using Lenovo Tiny PCs.

Working closely with the school, our engineers planned, managed and installed 100 Lenovo Tiny PCs, providing a compact, secure and low energy solution ideal for modern classrooms.

The Tiny PC form factor allowed each unit to be mounted discreetly behind monitors, freeing up desk space while reducing energy consumption and improving cable management. The result was a cleaner, safer and more efficient learning environment.

           Each Lenovo Tiny PC includes multiple USB ports, dual display outputs, VGA, serial, network and                         charging ports, more than sufficient for classroom use.

          If the monitor supports VESA mounting, the PC will fit. Vibrant Networks handles all planning and                      installation to ensure compatibility.

  • “There’s no DVD drive option.”

          External and under‑desk DVD mounting solutions are available where required.
