Our client worked from home, and relied heavily on his at home Wi-Fi to power his devices that were set up in his home office. As someone who wasn't often in the office, working became a struggle when he began to suffer from slow speeds and bad connectivity. 

The previous IT provider had installed the access point beneath our client's home office outside of the building. The tech had then been wrapped in a carrier bag; what we assumed to be a poor attempt at protection from harsh weather.

 Before we did anything, we used fluke testers to locate the Wi-Fi access point, as the owner was unsure of its location. After locating the access point and seeing its condition,  we ran a test and found that the network cable was faulty. Due to this, we ran a new cable that travelled through the garden office to the house. After this, we installed the new Zyxel access point, and ran a test to ensure the Wi-Fi was running to a high quality.
