Supplying and installing 150 CCTV cameras across multiple warehouses

The Challenge

Our client, a distribution company based in the West Midlands, required a reliable, time accurate CCTV solution to enhance security across multiple warehouse environments.

In addition to improving site security, the business needed a faster, more efficient way to identify incidents. Previously, locating footage involved manually reviewing hours of video, costing valuable time and delaying investigations following warehouse accidents or operational issues.

Vibrant Networks were tasked with delivering a scalable CCTV system that improved visibility, accuracy and response times across all sites.

The Process

Vibrant Networks designed and installed a Dahua CCTV solution, tailored specifically for large warehouse and distribution environments. Our engineers installed a total of 150 cameras, including:
  • 40 external cameras securing warehouse perimeters
  • 20 AI enabled internal cameras positioned at loading shutters
  • 90 cameras covering offices and shared internal areas
All cameras were centrally managed using a Video Management System (VMS) called Tether.io, providing full visibility across all warehouse locations.

The VMS enabled advanced features such as time splicing, allowing incidents to be catalogued and located within minutes rather than hours. This dramatically reduced investigation time and improved operational efficiency for the client’s management team.
