Installation of a Wi-Fi Network in a School

Vibrant were called out to install 180 Cisco Meraki WI-FI Access Points in a new School in West Bromwich in the West Midlands. This was done for a large Blue-Chip Construction Company. Vibrant successfully mounted access points through out the whole school.

The Challenge

A school in West Bromwich were suffering from bad Wi-Fi with blind spots and slow connectivity. This hindered lesson plans and lowered the quality of learning for the students. Vibrant Networks were called out to see how we could help!

The Process
Vibrant were drafted in to install 180 Cisco Meraki Wi-Fi Access Points in a new school in West Bromwich in the West Midlands for a large Blue-Chip Construction Company. Vibrant Successfully mounted access points through out the whole school.

The Vibrant Networks Wi-Fi installation team had to install 180 Cisco Meraki MR and 32 wireless access points throughout the entire school in the following locations:
  • 70 Classrooms
  • Sports Hall 
  • Assembly hall
  • Corridors 
  • Dance Studios
  • Libraries 
  • Canteens 
  • Science Block 
We used high rise scaffolding and scissor lifts to assist us through the installation of the access points.

The Result

The school now benefits from fast Wi-Fi speeds. Students are able to access online resources quickly, and teachers are able to improve the efficiency of their lessons as less time is being wasted on slow connectivity.
